Check the country code first
The most common mistake: choosing the wrong country in the app. US and Canadian numbers both start with +1 — pick the right one in the dropdown, then type the rest without the +1.
Ask for SMS, not a call
Numbers here receive texts only. If the app offers “Call me”, choose the text option or wait for the resend button.
Wait for the resend timer
Pressing resend too fast can trigger rate limits. Wait the full countdown the app shows, then try once more.
Still nothing?
- Cancel after 2 minutes for an instant refund
- Or do nothing: after 20 minutes the number closes and refunds itself
- Try another country — some apps prefer certain regions
